Welcome to the Ukiyo-Go Shop

Ukiyo-Go's handmade Haramaki are available in a wide range of fabrics, styles, designs and colours to suit your tastes and requirements.

This page shows the traditional (double layer Japanese bandage) style Haramaki and the single layer Haramaki made with the European figure in mind. Made from organic cotton jersey fabric (like T-shirt material).  All Haramaki are £12.50 each plus £1 P+P in the UK.

The Traditional Haramaki

Double layer Haramaki for maximum insulation. These Haramaki are unisex. This range was produced specifically for the British Acupuncture Council's Conference. The colours and designs depict the five elements; Earth (yellow), Water (blue), Fire (red), Wood (green) and Metal (grey). Also in black and white.

Washing Instructions

Machine or hand wash at 40^o and dry preferably without stretching the garment.

Single Layer Haramaki

Keeping the cold out in style. This single layer Haramaki is designed with the European female figure in mind. Tapering in at the waist, designed to stay put when you're on the go.

Size Chart
Rough guide using standard UK sizes. Double layer Haramaki are unisex. Single layer are generally womens. Please note that your Haramaki should be snug fitting but not restrictive in any way. And should be worn next to your skin, covering your kidneys.
